C3iHub Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations at TIPS 6.0 at IIT Indore

C3iHub, the cybersecurity Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur, marked its active participation in the 6th National Workshop on Technology Innovation in Cyber-Physical Systems (TIPS 6.0), held at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore. The prestigious event was organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and hosted by the IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation.

A key highlight of the workshop was the thought-provoking keynote address by Shri Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of the Mission Governing Board (NM-ICPS), who shared his strategic insights on “Catalyzing DeepTech Commercialization.” The event concluded with an impactful valedictory session led by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering innovation in the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) domain.

The workshop brought together a distinguished panel of thought leaders and experts including Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Former DST Secretary and President of INSA; Prof. Suhas S. Joshi, Director, IIT Indore; Dr. Ekta Kapoor, Head of FFT Division at DST; and Prof. Anurag Kumar, Former Director, IISc Bangalore. The forum facilitated dynamic discussions with participation from Technology Innovation Hubs (TIHs) across India, emphasizing collaborative efforts to drive India’s deep-tech ecosystem forward.

C3iHub made a strong impression with its exhibit showcasing key technological advancements such as the Security Operations Center (SOC), TDR system, and Crypto Forensic tool. The display also featured a comprehensive retrospective of C3iHub’s five-year journey, highlighting its impact-driven roadmap through the Technology Translational Research Park (TTRP).

Adding to the hub’s presence at the event, C3iHub-incubated startup Hommi unveiled its indigenous smart home ecosystem, emphasizing innovation in secure and intelligent living solutions.

Another notable moment was the official launch of C3iHub’s quarterly newsletter, Cyber Rakshak – May 2025 edition, by Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur. The publication reflects C3iHub’s continued efforts to share knowledge, showcase progress, and engage with the cybersecurity community.

The TIPS 6.0 workshop served as a vital platform for strategic dialogue, technological showcase, and visionary planning—cementing C3iHub’s role as a leading force in advancing cybersecurity and CPS innovation in India.
